About James Korges (Me)

Primarily a Fine Art Lifestyle, Custom Portraiture and Event photographer.  Every photo is crafted and tailored for the individual to reflect their unique persona and spirit.  Over 40 years of photographic experience with a penchant for black and white renderings in the genre of Ansel Adams and Film Noir.  Collaborations to fully interact with the client for a completely personal take on their rendered images.

I started my journey into photography in the 70's as a teen with a Yashica Electro 35. From there I progressed to Nikon F2 and up...

A full military career as an Army CW4 Aviator consumed 26 years of service and seeing most of the world.  After retiring from the Army I went back to college for a degree in computer science. During all of this I stayed active in photography.

After working in IT and networking I ventured out into my own photography business.  Specializing in lifestyle and event photography.

I have been published in several magazines including Horse & Rider, Southern Living and VOGUE.

I am presently shooting with Nikon cameras.

Currently living in the Northeast Georgia area and covering the Atlanta, Gainesville and Athens areas.
